Patricia Zapata seems to have a lot on her plate. Being a talented graphic designer, founder and owner of Zapata Design, half-marathoner and mother are apparently just not enough. So she fills the rest of her time with a paper-oriented creative endeavor called “A Little Hut.” If you’ve been around the web design blogs a little while, you’ve likely already seen her intricately detailed paper art.

Patricia primarily uses white paperboard for her layered art pieces, but I was so drawn to this recent special order using little pops of multiple colors featured on her blog (very top and above); if you can believe she finds the time to keep a blog updated, too - I’m impressed! I hope she will consider making a few more to sell in her online store! She also created several white trees and branches with colored backgrounds (below); each has already sold so keep it bookmarked and check back.

In addition, Patricia creates lovely gift tags (check her blog archives for some neat ideas for DIY gift tags, and her store for gift tag and gift box templates), as well as a full set of linoleum-cut printed gift cards. Several of her delightfully simple and cheery gift cards are pictured below.
